Privacy Policy
Last updated:
This Privacy Policy describes how Synoptro LLC, operating as Ignyte ("we," "us," "our"), collects, uses, and protects information when you visit ignyte.me or purchase our products.
Information we collect
Information you provide directly. If you contact us by email, subscribe to our mailing list, or submit a form on our site, we collect the information you provide, such as your name and email address.
Payment and purchase information. We do not collect or store your payment details. All transactions are processed by Polar.sh, our Merchant of Record. Polar collects the information necessary to process your purchase, including payment method, billing address, and email. Polar's handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policy, available at polar.sh/legal/privacy.
Customer record information. When you complete a purchase through Polar, we receive your order details (order ID, product, purchase date, billing email and name) and store them in our customer database alongside any optional information you provided at checkout (such as how you heard about us). This record exists so we can provide product support, honor your purchase, and contact you about your specific order if needed — even if you have not opted into our newsletter. Marketing communications are sent only to those who explicitly opt in.
Information collected automatically. When you visit this marketing site (ignyte.me), we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless and does not track individual visitors across sessions or sites. It reports page views, referrers, and browser/country-level data only. No personal identifiers are collected.
A note on our products. When we say Beacon "has no tracking," we mean the product itself ships without any analytics or tracking scripts. You can add your own analytics if you want to. This is separate from the marketing site you're reading now.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Deliver purchased products and provide support
- Respond to your inquiries
- Send communications you have opted into, such as a newsletter
- Analyze site traffic and usage patterns
- Improve our products and website
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Third-party services
We use third-party services to operate our site and business. These may include:
- Polar.sh, for payment processing and order management
- Cloudflare, for site hosting and cookieless Web Analytics
- Plunk, for transactional and marketing emails and customer record management
Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how it handles your data.
Cookies
This site does not set analytics cookies. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless by design. We may set a small number of functional cookies (for example, to remember your light/dark theme preference). You can control cookie behavior through your browser settings.
Data retention
We retain your information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. If you would like your data removed, contact us at [email protected].
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].
Children's privacy
Our products and services are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted to this page.
